On Saturday 25th June 2022, in memory of the charity’s founding Chairman John Whitehouse, the garden at theKenilworthCentre was officially renamed The John Whitehouse Memorial Garden.
John had sadly passed away in 2021 but the garden, which is used on a daily basis by different groups at theKenilworthCentre, will be a fitting, lasting tribute to his contribution to both theKenilworthCentre and to the town of Kenilworth. As well as his work as a local county councillor, John had also been very active with Kenilworth Lions and The Greenway Trust.
In recent weeks the new garden has been completely replanted by volunteers, including from the Good Gym Kenilworth group.
Thanks to Kenilworth Lions Club for all their support for this work on the garden, including the new benches.
