theKenilworthCentre, Radio Abbey and Abbey Cinema all rely on volunteers. Whilst volunteers can never replace paid staff, they have a vital role in making theKenilworthCentre a vibrant community building that delivers much-needed services for both young and older people in the area.

Maybe you are thinking of returning back to the world of work or develop new skills to add to your CV? Perhaps you have always had an interest in radio and broadcasting?

We’re currently looking for volunteers to help with:

Abbey Cinema Club – on a once a month basis for up to two and a half hours to help set up the hall  for the cinema.

Volunteer gardener – on a fortnightly basis for up to two hours to keep our small but lovely garden tidy. We have the tools, we just need the gardener!

Volunteer youth worker – to join the existing rota of volunteers who help out once/twice each month at our Friday night youth club. You may want to do this as part of your Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme work or you may just want to give something back to the inspiring young people of Kenilworth.

Email or call us on 01926 855 205 – we look forward to hearing from you!

If you can’t spare any time, then you can support us by making a donation through Local Giving.
