SROI

the Kenilworth Centre aims to showcase its impact at every opportunity. Whether it is the positive impact that having a welcoming friendly staff team to greet, help and support local businesses and organisations who hire the space, or the invaluable impact that a one to one mentoring session can offer a young person who benefits from a session with one of our qualified and experienced youth work staff, or the impact that a volunteering opportunity at the centre can provide for one of our volunteers, there are hundreds of examples of positive and life changing impacts on individuals and the wider community.

We regularly capture feedback from hirers, residents, the wider community and individuals who benefit from our provision. We also rely on those who benefit from our services to give us feedback on what we do well and how we can improve.

Social Return on Investment (SROI) is a framework for measuring and valuing the wider social, economic, and environmental outcomes created by an intervention. It goes beyond financial return to capture outcomes such as improved wellbeing, reduced crime, increased employability, and stronger communities.

SROI expresses impact as a ratio (e.g. £5 of social value for every £1 invested).

It combines quantitative data (cost savings, earnings) with qualitative outcomes (confidence, wellbeing, relationships).
