Trustee or Co‑opted Volunteer – Building Compliance & Management
Kenilworth Centre (Registered Charity)
Volunteer role | Kenilworth
About the Kenilworth Centre

The Kenilworth Centre is an independent charity at the heart of Kenilworth, providing inclusive, affordable space and support for young people and the wider community. Our core purpose is youth provision, offering safe, supportive “third spaces” that help young people build confidence, skills and resilience. Alongside this, we are home to a range of community activities, support groups, local organisations and businesses.
The Centre operates from a large, well-used community building that is open seven days a week and sees in excess of 1000 people through the doors each week.
Demand for both youth and community services continues to grow within the town, making the safe, compliant operation of the building essential to everything we do.
The Role
We are seeking a Trustee or co‑opted volunteer with experience in building management and compliance to support our management team and trustees.
The Kenilworth Centre holds the building on a full repairing lease, meaning the charity is responsible for all aspects of building compliance, maintenance and safety. This role will play a key part in helping us meet those responsibilities effectively, safely and sustainably.
You will act as an adviser, helping to guide decisions rather than delivering day‑to‑day operations.
